Oh my gosh! I am so behind in blogging! Lots of thing have been happing, but finally slowing down. yay!
On the Cub Scout front, Ryan had his Blue and Gold last week. He earned his webelo rank! Yay! Now, he is working hard on getting his arrow of light. This weekend they will work on The ReadyMan badge. Fun!
He also has been going to class with Shawn every Sunday to work on his God & Family award. Plus, Scout Sunday was a few days ago. Busy Scout!

Kit Kat finished up short course with her 8 Under Champs meet. She did well! Placed, 1st in two relays, 2nd in 100 Free, and 50 free and 3rd in 100 IM and 50 Breast. She was a little bummed that she did not lower her time in her free events, but she was not tapered. There were only 3 kids in the Black training group that went to 8 & unders. Everyone else is older so they went the following week to their Champs. So the 8 yr olds got screwed on a taper. lol! The did not drop time. The older kids did though! It would have been fun to see what Kit Kat would have done tapered. She swam a 4ooo the night before her meet! ugh! lol! So, she missed out on being an alternate for a TAGS relay. She was bummed. I had to remind her she was only 8 and long course will be here soon! She is hoping to make it on a relay or an alternate in long course. She is determined! lol! The good news is since she has such good times already, she has already qualified for Summer 2015 Champs, which is the Elite meet. That means she will taper for it just like the big kids in her group. yay! This weekend is TAGS here at our pool. Kit Kat will go to cheer her fellow swim mates on. Her time will be here before she knows it if she keeps working hard. :)

Now she goes on break for 2 weeks. Then, Long Course!
One more week until Spring Break. The Kids are READY!
